The real worry

The scary part is not choosing tiles. It is trusting the job will be controlled.

A bathroom is too expensive to run on vague texts, hidden extras and a pile of trades who all blame each other.

Will the quote change halfway through?

Who coordinates plumber, tiler, electrician, waste, and finish?

How long will the bathroom be unusable?

Will I get a proper written scope, or just a number in a text?

Finlay's answer

One accountable lead from strip-out to handover.

Vince manages the plumbing, fitting, coordination and final handover so you know who owns the job.

Survey

Vince checks the room, pipe runs, water pressure, waste, access and what can stay where.

Written quote

You get a fixed written scope with inclusions, exclusions and staged payments before work starts.

Fit

Strip-out, plumbing, fitting, tiling coordination, waste plan and specialist trades where needed.

Handover

Final checks, clean finish, warranty details and no loose ends left for you to chase.

Proof + finish examples

Real work first. Style examples clearly labelled.

Use the examples to point Vince toward the finish you want. The quote still comes from your actual room, not from a stock package.

Questions

What people ask before they book a bathroom survey

If one of these answers sounds vague, the job will feel vague too. The goal is a clear survey, clear scope and clear quote.

How long does a bathroom install take?+

Most full bathroom refits take 5-10 working days once work starts. Wet rooms, layout changes or hidden problems can take longer, and those are explained before the quote is agreed.

Can I use my toilet or shower while work is happening?+

If it is your only toilet, Vince plans around that during the survey. Shower access depends on the layout and how much of the room is being stripped.

Can I supply my own suite and tiles?+

Yes. Vince can fit customer-supplied items if they are suitable, complete and on site when needed. He can also advise before you buy so you avoid parts that do not fit the room.

Do you handle tiling, electrics and waste?+

Vince manages the job and coordinates specialist trades where needed. Waste removal, tiling scope and any electrical work are written into the quote so there is no vague handover.

How much do you need upfront?+

Payments are staged and written into the contract. The deposit is never more than 30% upfront.

What happens if you find hidden problems?+

Work pauses, you see what has been found, and any extra repair is quoted before it goes ahead. No surprise bill at the end.

Do you do wet rooms and walk-in showers?+

Yes. Wet-room style work is surveyed carefully because waterproofing, falls, drainage and ventilation have to be planned properly.

What guarantee do I get?+

You get a 12-month workmanship guarantee plus the manufacturer warranties that come with the products used in your bathroom.
