This site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all content. If you can’t use part of it, tell me — I’ll fix it.
What works well
- Full keyboard navigation — every link and button is reachable by Tab
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Colour contrast ≥ 4.5:1 for body text, ≥ 3:1 for UI components
- All images have alt text describing the content (or are flagged as decorative)
- Form fields have proper labels and validation messages
- Mobile burger menu locks body scroll and closes with Escape
- Reduced-motion preference is respected (the scrolling marquee pauses)
- Screen-reader-friendly headings (h1 → h2 → h3 hierarchy)
Known limitations
- The map embeds on area pages are OpenStreetMap iframes — limited keyboard navigation inside the embed. The same coverage information is in plain text alongside the map.
- Some images are decorative-only and use empty alt attributes — those are not announced by screen readers.
Alternative formats

If you’re unhappy with how I handle an accessibility complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) — they advise on equality legislation in the UK.
