Cookies,
explained simply.
Last updated: May 2026
This site uses a small number of cookies. None are used to identify you personally until you actively interact with the site (e.g. submit a form).
What I use
Essential cookies (always on)
Used for the site to function. Examples: remembering your cookie consent choice, keeping the burger menu state. No personal data involved.
Analytics cookies (opt-in)
Google Analytics 4 (anonymised) and Microsoft Clarity (session replays, anonymised). These help me understand which pages people use most and where they get stuck. They only run if you accept analytics via the cookie banner.
No marketing or advertising cookies
I don’t run Facebook Pixel, retargeting, or any advertising cookies. Google Ads conversions are tracked via GA4 conversion goals, which use the opt-in analytics cookies above.
How to opt out
Three ways:
- Click ‘Reject analytics’ on the cookie banner when you first visit
- Clear your cookies in your browser and reload the site — banner reappears
- Use browser-level ‘Do Not Track’ or a privacy extension (uBlock, Privacy Badger) — both are respected
Third-party tools
The booking form submits via my server, not a third-party form provider. Maps embedded on area pages use OpenStreetMap (no tracking) rather than Google Maps. WhatsApp deep links are just standard URLs — clicking opens WhatsApp on your device with a pre-filled message; no data is sent to me until you actually send the message.
